rob oxford, guitar and vocals

Rob Oxford is an award‑winning New England entertainer whose performances blend musicianship, storytelling, and a lifelong love of classic Americana music. With his guitar, rich bass voice, and warm, inviting stage presence, Rob creates concerts that feel both timeless and personal — drawing audiences into the songs they grew up with and still cherish today.

His repertoire spans Americana, folk, classic country, and early pop, covering music from the 1930s through the 1970s. Rob performs songs made famous by Woody Guthrie, Simon & Garfunkel, Ernest Tubb, Hank Snow, The Kingston Trio, Johnny Cash, John Denver, and many others. Whether performing solo or with professionally produced backing tracks, he delivers a polished, family‑friendly show that resonates with audiences of all ages.

Rob has been honored by the New Hampshire Country Music Association as Entertainer of the Year for three consecutive years (2005–2007), along with multiple awards recognizing his vocal and performance excellence. He has appeared at many of New England’s most beloved venues and community events, including the Milford Summer Concert Series, Kittery ME Summer Concert Series, Quechee and White River Junction VT Summer Concerts, Littleton Summer Concerts, the Keene Pumpkin Festival, The Big E, and numerous senior centers, retirement communities, and private events.

In addition to interpreting classic songs, Rob is an accomplished songwriter. His single One‑eyed Babysitter was featured on The Folk Show on New Hampshire Public Radio, and his recent original releases — The Sky’s on Fire, It’s All About Me, and If That Works for You — showcase his humor, heart, and gift for storytelling.

For nine years, Rob was half of the beloved duo Oxford & Clark, performing throughout the Upper Valley of New Hampshire and Vermont until Dave Clark’s passing in 2020. Their music continues to live on, with recordings available online and a physical CD still offered for fans and collectors.

Rob continues to share his music with audiences across the region, bringing authenticity, warmth, and a deep appreciation for the songs that shaped generations.

Rob resides in New Hampshire with his wife, his dog Brody and family.
